Renowned for its excellent staff and exciting cabaret entertainment, with international artists, singers and drag queens all taking to its infamous stage.
Legends is a feisty, friendly, and fun venue open till 4am daily. With a bright, airy feel and free Wi-Fi, there’s plenty of space to meet with friends and relax but as the day turns into night, the lights go down on the ground floor, giving way to a vibrant, exciting social space.
Legends ‘The Basement Club’ is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening till late, and is home to our renowned club nights and award-winning resident DJ’s – Peter Castle, Ben and Patch

The Bar

Big wide windows open up on a large terrace making Legends a great place to sip a coffee, enjoy a drink, a bite to eat, or just kick back and enjoy the panoramic sea views from Brighton’s biggest terrace bar whatever the time of day.

Our great food is available every day so why not try a bite. In the evening Legends is a sophisticated and vibrant, relaxed friendly bar. Our Sunday cabaret (3.30 pm) has become a Brighton tradition, with Brighton stars like Dave Lynn, Davinia Sparkle, Miss Jason and Lovinia Belle amongst many up-and-coming acts appearing on Legends stage. We also offer a traditional Sunday Roast from 12.30-4 pm.

Bringing to Brighton a diverse range of DJ’s who play some of the UK’s most famous gay venues The Basement Club is one of Brighton’s favourite late night venues

We went to watch the drag act which is always great fun and decided to book in earlier to have the Sunday Roast. We last had one here 2 years ago and my God they have insanely improved things. A large and very tasty Yorkshire, perfect roasties and very high quality meat. I had the stuffed supreme of chicken and my partner had the beef. Worth the visit just for the meal.

Has the pleasure of celebrating my friends 50th at Legends Bar. We had the best time, probably the best night out in years. The staff are always so friendly, and that goes for the guys on the door, Dean in particular is such a sweet guy, service with a smile every time! It’s our go to place when we visit Brighton. Visited Brighton for a few days with my other half, he have never been to Legends Bar before. Popped in for a drink and the staff we so friendly and welcoming, great music and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We came back for the basement club opening in the evening, best night out we’ve had in ages. Thankyou, we will definitely be back!
